What is Permanent Life Insurance?

Permanent life insurance provides a level premium that remains stable throughout the life of the policy and is designed to extend into retirement. It is an individual, issue-age policy based on your age at issuance and can be kept regardless of changes in employment.

 

Plan Rules:

  • Eligibility: Eligible full-time employees working 20 or more hours per week, spouse, and children (up to age 26)

  • Coverage provided by Colonial Life (Whole Life Plus)

  • Underwriting may be required. Coverage is not guaranteed

  • Must be actively at work on the effective date

  • Keep your coverage even if you retire or change employers

  • Dependent Child(ren): Ages 0 - 17 are eligible for coverage. Full-time dependent students age 18-26 are issued adult plans and the tobacco question is required on the application.
